This is a really good game and i highly recommend you play! It's kinda like fnaf but has different mechanics.

I wouldn't call it a fnaf game because I tried to keep it as far away as possible from many fnaf concepts, and the starting idea was not based on fnaf. Thanks for playing!

Here is some gameplay of Hard mode I made:

is pretty cool to see peaple making actual good games with GDevelop

Enjoying the game, but Hard Mode is incredibly difficult and annoying just because of the power bar cooldown and the fact that it doesn't auto charge once it reaches 0 while it's turned off. Sometimes it's just impossible to avoid the monster because he comes right back to you immediately but the power bar is still going down. I'm not sure how to avoid that.

Another thing is that while the CRT monitor scanline filter is pretty interesting, it doesn't necessarily make it creepy. The game isn't all that scary and I feel like the addition of another system you have to maintain and/or a more creepy approach to the monster would be really helpful. The jumpscare isn't even very jumpscare-esque. The game basically tells you when a jumpscare is incoming and the noise/face aren't very scary either.

While I understand that this game is pretty barebones and minimal, and is very early in development, I feel like adding an environment around the screen would add a lot to the horror factor. Some kind of small, cramped crawlspace, where you can see shadows from the room above you through vents, or like a small room sealed off with emergency doors that the entity tears open when it finds you would be pretty cool.

In conclusion: The game seems a little too based on chance to succeed, the jumpscare, fear factor, and gameplay needs a little more "oomph", and the environment could be a lot better.

Even though there's some problems, I genuinely enjoyed this game and found it very fun to 100% the achievements. Please keep developing this game, I can't wait to see where it goes.

Pretty good game but honestly i find it not challenging enough. I've finished the game on hard mode on first try, i think the problem here is that theres only one threat. You can easily defend yourself by rapidly changing screens and recharging when the threat is close. Also the game lacks one major thing fear of unknown, even though you dont get any information about the monster when you have the power off, you know that it is nearby so you hope to press the button quickly its a pretty good way of scaring the player but sadly theres a literal timer on the game that tells you when the jumpscare is gonna come the audio ques

I think the player should realize by the first attempt that theres a pretty thrilling voice effect just before the jumpscare, and when waiting to recharge the effect makes the game even less thrilling since you know that your not gonna die until the audio plays, even though you get the black screen it gives a pretty predictable jumpscare and it really doesnt give you that much of a scare.

Other than that i think jumpscare could be better anyways pretty gun game!!!1 i liked it.

I would like to disagree just a bit. I feel like the sound cue  of the rising sound adds more tension for some people and in turn creates more panic. But I do understand your point of how some people can take advantage of the cue. The cue is there for tension. Thx for commenting! I appreciate it!

The concept of this game seems great to me, however, am still figuring out what I need to do and how I need to do, well, a good tutorial would have cleared this up. Also, this web build has some bugs maybe, I would check the build when it is bug-free. Till then, I would recommend polishing this game up on various aspects.

Can you tell me what bugs you have encountered? Also, the instructions are displayed in the game description under "IMPORTANT"

I would say here, if a user can't find it on the first try then you should consider making it more accessible. As a developer, you cannot enforce a user to check at this place everytime.

No worries, I added a tutorial to maybe clear some things up in-game.

Sounds cool.
